In Memory of My Grandfather
My grandfather was a man of extraordinary talent and vision, an exceptional engineering designer whose work left an indelible mark on those who knew him. His sudden passing due to the pandemic last year was a shock that left me grappling with the void his absence created. In my effort to honor his memory and to ensure our cherished moments are never forgotten, I have designed this unique book. It is both a tribute to his remarkable life and a means for me to preserve our shared memories.
The book is ingeniously designed as a dual narrative, with two interwoven sections:
Left Side - My Perspective: This section is a chronological account of my memories with my grandfather, reflecting my experiences and the impact he had on my life as I grew up. From childhood wonder to adult admiration, this narrative captures the evolution of our relationship through my eyes.
Right Side - My Grandfather’s Perspective: Here, I imagine and recreate my grandfather’s perspective, narrating his experiences and reflections on our relationship. This side provides insight into his thoughts and feelings as he watched me grow, sharing his pride, love, and hopes for my future.
